I am facing an issue with Tata Sky about the charges they deducted for the unused service and setup box . Upon, registering a complaint so many times, they fail to provide any resolution and close my complaint.
In the month of December 2019, I experienced a problem with the set up box no. 0749 and registered a complaint for the same. Then, the tata sky technician visited my residence and tried to solve the problem.
But, he said that there was a problem with our card and the box, so it needs to be replaced. He installed a new setup box (no. 9881) and started the services. He also gave us the Firestick and started our Tata sky Binge services.
As we get a yearly recharge done for the packages, We do not keep a monthly track of our balance. So, we did not come to know about the set up box no. 0749 being charged inspite of not being in use.
As already our charges towards the Tata Sky Binge and Amazon prime were deducted, so we did not come to know about the charges of the old box being charged. Neither, the technician, who installed the new box told us about its deactivation, otherwise we would have got it done.
When, in the month of June 2020, I called up tata sky for my recharge query about the two boxes which we are using, then I got to know about the third set up box being charged. It left me surprised. Then, today I gave a request for its cancellation.
As a loyal customer who has been using their services for long, needs to be compensated for the loss which we incurred by the fault of their technician.
I want a refund of the setup box (0749) which has been wrongly charged and was not in use from Dec’19 to till June’20. (₹272 for 7 months).
