Hello Team,

I am a tatasky customer since 2007 and my account Id id 1011387774. I was happy with their services; however since 2 years they kept their rates increasing every month and I still paid for the service without any issue. Recently TRAI has revised the guidelines and as per that they want the customers to select the channels which they view and pay for only that and for that customers were asked to select their packages. I raised a complaint to Tatasky in December 2018 about it and they mentioned that their website is not updated with it and will take some time so I had to pay Rs 1000 for that month too. Now by end of January 2019 they asked customers to select the packages and I selected my package on 31 January 2019 and as per my new selection my payment comes to Rs 677 per month including taxes (and I had this much balance at the beginning of the Feb 2019), and I see that the channels I have selected are getting aired to my television. Now suddenly I receive a message from tatasky to recharge my account with Rs 840 to keep my services active. Then I had a word with them and they mentioned that my tatasky account is not reflecting with the new selected package, so I am getting billed with the old rate and I even lodged a complaint about it and now they are asking me to select the package again and it will reflect from the selected date which will be 20th Feb 2019. So, I have asked below questions form them and they had no answer to it:

  1. If my selections was not reflecting into my account then why they didnot inform me within 48-72 hours of my selection? And should have advised me to select the package again.
  2. I can see that my selected package is getting aired to my television then it becomes their responsibility to update my account.
  3. They should not charge me with the old rates and use my current selection for the payments.
  4. When the Feb 2019 began I had Rs 650 into my account which was sufficient for the selections I made. Now as they charged my account with old rates will they credit my account back.
