I normally recharge my Vodafone prepaid with 399 rupees which gives a validity of 84 days. Vodafone sends reminders about the expiry fee days in advance so that the services share not interrupted.
Last time I failed to recharge by due date and started regular usage which resulted in using about 30 rupees or so of data by about 10 am. Having realised that any delay in recharging will be costly, This time I recharged the moment I got reminder and about 4 days in advance. Now surprisingly instead of extending the validity by 84 days, the company has lapsed the remaining 4 days validity of the previous recharge. Vodafone is tactfully troubling and extracting money from customer.
If I pay some thing in advance or extra, how the same can be forfeited. Like that how many people they r cheating. The customer service executive has readymade answer.
With airtel it is not like that. They were extending the validity, if recharge is done after renewal msgs are sent.
