I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing experience I recently encountered as a consumer. Having come across an enticing advertisement on Instagram, I made a purchase of a tripod priced at ₹850, with the promise of receiving three additional gifts alongside it. Regrettably, upon receiving the package, I was shocked to discover that instead of the advertised tripod, I received a low-quality selfie stick valued at ₹50. This blatant disparity between the promoted product and the actual item received is a clear case of false advertising, and I am deeply disappointed and aggrieved by this deception.
Adding to my frustration, all attempts to contact the company through the provided contact numbers have proven futile. The numbers are either disconnected or unreachable, leaving me without any means of addressing this issue directly with the company. This lack of response not only compounds the inconvenience caused by this situation but also raises concerns about the company’s integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Moreover, it appears that my attempts to reach out have been met with further obstacles, as it seems my number has been blocked by the company.
I am reaching out to you in the hope of seeking assistance and justice in this matter. What has transpired should not be allowed to happen to other consumers, and it is imperative that swift action be taken to rectify this situation. I urge you to intervene on behalf of consumers like myself who have fallen victim to such deceptive practices. Specifically, I request that measures be taken to ensure that I receive a full refund for the misrepresented product and that appropriate action be taken against the company responsible for engaging in fraudulent activities.
Please consider launching a consumer campaign to raise awareness about this issue and to advocate for stricter regulations to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Together, we can work towards holding accountable those who seek to exploit consumers through false advertising and unethical business practices.
