Respected Sir,
I have Vodafone plan “Red – iPhone Forever” with two connection – 9969680077 and 9867985363. The later was being used by my son for his trip to Montenegro via Turkey. He has used this number to make calls from Istanbul Airport and later Podgorica Airport on 3/2/2020.
I realised that I could not reached my son’s mobile number on 4/2/2020 since morning.
I was informed over the phone from Vodafone executive that the charges exceeded beyond credit limit of Rs.9000/- so had to pay Rs.6192.64 immediately so they will restore connection to the above mobile number. So I paid the amount via online transaction. And the connection was restored thereafter.
But soon the number was disconnected again on 5/2/2020.During this period between 3/2/2020 and 4/2/2020 my son made voice calls and whats app messages from Istanbul airport and Montenegro. From 5/2/2020 my son started using Local M TEL card.
I have in my position the transcript of these voice calls and Internet usage between the above mentioned period.
I was shocked to know that I have been charged Rs.294000/- for Internet usage of just 196596 KB.( approx. 196 MB)
My number has been disconnected from 5/2/2020 and GST Rs.56174.94 was charged on total bill of Rs.368257.94 issued on 4/3/2020.
I have communicated with Vodafone Customercare on voice call to 199 with Vodafone executives namely Pooja Phadtare, Anuli Hande and Shivam Alok, who assured Albanian roaming pack worth Rs. 4500 was not activated, and also via email as follows- 1)[email protected]

But, all I receive is automated email responses from them and fake assurances that do not lead to any internal investigation or revision of bill statement for 4/3/2020.
I humbly request you to take cognition of my issue since I have been charged Rs.2,94,900/- for 196596 KB which does not tally with International Tarrif Rate for details roaming.( Rs.5.50 per 10 KB) Sir, I am a,retired Govt. Employee on pension and I am not in a position to pay such a huge amount which is result of miscalculation on behalf of Vodafone.If need be, I can email you the pdf file copy of the bill dated 4/3/2020
