Sir,
I, Mr. Soumik Chowdhury, was appointed as a vendor/franchise partner with your company Fashnear Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (operating as Meesho) on 3rd January 2024. I had been conducting business operations in good faith under the mutually agreed terms and conditions.
However, to my shock and dismay, on 28th December 2024, my office was abruptly closed by Mr. Sajal Barman (Area Manager – North Bengal) without any prior written notice, official email, or legal communication from your end. This action amounts to an illegal termination of my vendorship, done without due process and in complete violation of basic contractual, business, and legal norms.
Further, Mr. Sajal Barman unlawfully seized all shipments and materials from my premises without any documented handover, inventory, or acknowledgment, thus causing me severe financial loss and mental harassment. It has also come to my knowledge that Mr. Barman is allegedly involved in multiple illegal and unethical activities while holding office, which has further aggravated the harm done to me and other vendors.
Moreover, despite the closure of my office over 90 days ago, your company has failed to refund my franchise amount of ₹2,00,000. Despite repeated reminders and follow-ups, your officials have only provided baseless excuses and have willfully delayed the rightful refund.
Due to these arbitrary, unprofessional, and illegal actions by your company and its representatives, I have suffered:
Financial Loss
Mental Agony
Reputational Damage
Business Disruption
Mental harassment
Therefore, through this legal notice, I hereby formally demand the following within a period of 7 (seven) days from the receipt of this notice:
1. Immediate refund of my franchise amount of ₹2,00,000.
2. Return of all my shipments, goods, and materials unlawfully taken from my premises.
3. An official explanation for the illegal termination of my vendorship and closure of my office.
4. Strict disciplinary and legal action against Mr. Sajal Barman for his alleged illegal acts.
5. Office was closed of 28th of December then how there has been continously marking lost on January 2025 February 2025 March 2025 and Even April 2025
6. Payment of ₹5,00,000 (Rupees FIVE Lakhs only) as compensation for financial losses, mental harassment, and business damages suffered by me.
