This is, in reference to your loan agreement no SPLN60156471.
As discussed over the Branch with our executive Jahnavi, for the above loan going for the closure of the loan there will be the fore closure charges of 5 % + GST 18%.
18% GST will be paid to the central government, hence the same can’t be waived off.
Enclosed is the email send from the bank at the time of taking the loan and the Sanction letter copy too..

Its one of the fraud bank I have seen is Kotak, there terms are not clear when they say binding for pre closure 1 year in spite while go to bank, they charge extra service charges and other GST something nonsense they keep the amount more than 5% which is way beyond your expectations.,
I have requested my PL fore closure they not even mentioned while in sanction letter or terms of my loan sanction letter, but they want to get this from customer with force, other wise they don’t close the PL account, is so pathetic financial institute I have seen.
Please I request I every one to share this and make that bank doesn’t effect other customers in future.. there response and customer satisfaction is Zero I think.,. what a scrap bank, they don’t follow any process, there is no escalation point available in bank, all is customer care teams, they response is poorest of the poor.
You get so many calls from every where and they festere you always, I have sent mails many times, still who ever comes new will ask different mails every time,
If anyone looking for banking I would never recommend kotak. Looks to be an small bank with out customer strong policies, very week financial sector bank. no customer friendly!!! No customer savvy.. its false and fraud bank

If anyone looking for banking I would never recommend kotak. not good customer policies, its only for making customer penalized, they don’t mention any service charges while sanctioning, but while go for fore closure they levy customer with all charges,
Its illegal and fraud, I recommend don’t go such banks with no value to customer and they have no strong policies towards customer welfare. recent times this is the one financial institute I have seen with out any values towards customer friendly..
