Dear Sir/Madam,

I’m Linju, faithful customer of Airtel from past 10 years(Phone no. 9632738638). I’m facing a problem related to my sim and it’s been almost 20 days that I’m not given a solution. At this point, I do not know whom to contact for a reply as most of the emails are unanswered, hence this mail is addressed to most of the email ids available on Google.

Now comes my problem, my sim is taken from Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Now I’m a permanent resident of Abu Dhabi, UAE. My sim was in good condition till the time I left India, and it miraculously got damaged once I landed on a different country; I’m not sure how this can happen since the only change was a different location. Anyway, my brother, my friends and I, myself contacted customer care more than 7 times to get a solution on this. They said nothing can be done except me getting a duplicate sim. As I won’t be able to travel to India just for my live photo to take a duplicate sim, I asked the customer care executive if someone else can do it on my behalf; one of them told my blood relative can represent me with my documents and photo. Hence I asked my brother to do so. The office staffs denied the service asking me to go the office for a photo, when cited about the customer care advice, they told it’s a wrong information. So my brother contacted the customer care again and the executive asked him to CONVINCE the office staffs.

All my important updates are received on that number including OTPs to do any transactions. I need a practical solution to this problem, by issuing duplicate sim or porting the number to a better service provider.
