I am a Vodafone prepaid customer. I was facing issues related to SMS .The SMS has not been sent from my phone hence I recently changed my phone but I am facing the same issues . To check whether my handset has any problem or not I place another sim on my handset and try to send the message it was properly working but when I put my SIM of Vodafone it is not working again. I am not able to register and verify through a lot of apps which are very useful in daily needs. That’s why I am facing a lot of issues and I am not able to work properly because verification is required on the phone and SMS is required to be sent from the phone for work . I contacted Vodafone on 24th july regarding the issue so they provided me with some steps to check on which I also tried on my phone like on my handset I am using iPhone 12 . There is no such setting and no message service center number related to SMS and there is no setting such as I can change in the phone so I have requested on 24th regarding the same and they raise a complaint on that basis . But when I received the SMS the reason for the complaint was very different according to what I mentioned to them . I contacted them on the next day, that is 25 July and again said the same issue and they told me to wait for 24 hours but it wouldn’t happen that time so I contacted again on 25th July again they told me to wait for 24 hours. I had to use a lot of apps which I was not able to use because of SMS. The incoming SMS facility is there but no outgoing facility so I can not send any SMS from my handset right now .
I have contacted everyday till now like it’s 28 July and I contacted each and every day and every time they are raising a complaint I am receiving a message but nothing is being processed regarding the same again they raise a complaint I received a message that it will be processed until 27th but it is 28 now. today I also contacted them but they were not able to resolve it and when I wanted to speak to some senior executive they didn’t transfer the call and even the call was cut from their side .
Since I am facing so many issues and the issue is not being resolved so I also tried to change my number to port it to another company so that it can help me but since it also requires an SMS to be sent from the handset .
I am stuck with Vodafone and nobody is a resolving my issue so I think I really have to not change my number because I am not able to get any progress related to same that’s why I am writing this mail if anything can happen between 1 and 2 days because I don’t have more than that I have waited long enough I think that much is really enough for a problem to be resolved like this. Every time I am told to wait for 24 hours but I don’t think what 24 hours in my context and Vodafone context is the same.Only this way(via email) I left to talk as no executive helping me only raising the request and after that no response.Is this the way are you helping customers.
So I request you to please look into this matter as soon as possible and solve it at the earliest.They have raised so many requests.Below are the request number1) UPE-V00543209182- raised on 24th Jul,2021 and resolved on 27th July,2021
