Text of Complaint by Siva:

Dear Sir, I am writing this to share the issues I am facing with the E-learning platform Simplilearn ( My sister joined the “Data Analyst” course with Simplilearn on 26th Sept’22 worth 54000/- and we have taken monthly EMI in my HDFC Credit Card. On 28th Sept’22, a Simplilearn employee followed up for upgrading the course to PG Program worth 2Lakhs with 25% discount. We have informed him we require time and won’t be able to confirm on the same day. He was insisting us to join since the offer was only for 1 day. Later we informed him we are not interested, but then he informed us we can enroll today and can cancel within 7 days. Thus, we enrolled and on 30th Sept’22, we asked them to cancel the course. Then there was confusion regarding the cancellation of both courses thus myself and my sister spoke to 2 people from Simplilearn and informed them to cancel. They have agreed to do the same and asked us to wait for 45 days. In between while I was speaking with one of the employees, he disconnected the call in between and misbehaved. He himself acknowledged that he has disconnected the call. We have shared all these details to Simplilearn including misbehaving of their employee, but no response till date . Again, we started following up with customer care and we got a mail informing refund is not possible since it’s out of policy for 54000 course and 2lakh course has been cancelled. We called customer care multiple times to know the exact reason but as per them they are not the concerned team and every time they are assuring the respective team will give us a callback. We haven’t received any single call even after multiple calls to customer care. Also, we have mailed them to share the call recordings if it’s not under the policy, but for that also we were not getting any response. Later in Dec’22, they confirmed that they will refund the money but again in Jan’23, when we were following up, they informed refund is not happening since I have raised a dispute in the bank against this transaction. Later I withdrew the dispute and now they are saying it will take 45 days to complete the entire process. Now the bank is charging 54000/- monthly EMI, I contacted HDFC bank, but they have informed me to speak to Simplilearn for cancellation. Also, bank people are coming to home for the repayment, and they are continuously calling. Request to please help us to get 54000/- cancellation immediately and please ask Simplilearn to make the late fee charges charged by the bank for the course till date.

I have taken the simpli learn course of full stack Java developer with job guarantee and they fraud me now ,they are telling you are not eligible for refund I asked them why ,but they are telling you missed 13 job to fill and asked him to justify he is not so clear simply wasting time and telling you are not eligible how will you get the refund ,please close your company so that some people will save the money and time ,please my suggestion to all the other people please don’t go through simpli learn,they are fraud
