Dear Customer Forum,
I am writing to file a complaint against Airtel regarding the deactivation of my SIM card. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, I have not received any satisfactory resolution.
To give some background, I paid nearly 8000 rupees for my Airtel without using the data I have send multiple foolowup emails from past 10 months to terminate data contact and keep my sim in safe custody,. Despite this, I continued to receive calls from Airtel representatives demanding payment for data bills. One representative even assured me that my SIM card was in safe custody after paying bills, but it turns out that this was not the case. Without any prior notice or warning, my SIM card was deactivated, which has caused significant disruption to my life. This is a violation of my personal data and privacy, as this SIM card is linked to all of my bank accounts and other important services.
I have contacted Airtel representatives through WhatsApp and email and have documented all conversations. However, no one has taken the initiative to resolve my issue, despite my repeated attempts. As a result, I am experiencing significant mental distress and anxiety due to this ongoing issue.
I am filing this complaint in the hopes that the Customer Forum can assist me in resolving this situation. I urge Airtel to take immediate action to rectify this issue and provide me with a satisfactory resolution.
