Hello,

Few days back I have made a recharge on my Vodafone number which included a net ~₹22 of minimum balance. Next day in the morning ₹5 were deducted from this minimum balance. When I called Vodafone, I had to call thrice-once their system was down, second time they didn’t pick up and third time they hung up my call without completing and explaining my case.

Anyways, whatever limited information I gathered was that ₹5 was deducted for some unknown international SMS I have no information on, neither it has any mention on the app nor does I have any such number on my phone. Now, for me, more than money, it’s been a security concern for me. I have emailed the concerned team too but, all I get is repeated exact same response from different executives which says that there haven’t been any deduction. Even te follow up email are exactly the same. (I am not able to attach many screenshots on this page. Kindly give me an email so that I can send over)

I even asked them about stopping flash messages. They asked me to message CAN FLASH to 144. I did it but again, no use. Flash messages still appear as it is.

 

Next, the number to register email ID doesn’t work. They all are obselete numbers available on  internet.

Also, on in internet they say that their number is toll-free. When I call in it, they say it’s chargable at 50p per 3 minutes. Very misleading!

 

I don’t know how are they operating and claim to be the best. I’ll be really thankful, although less hopeful, if some appropriate action will be taken against them.
