I ordered online on Oven story app – Buy 2 get 2 free Pizza at 1 pm on 25 Jan to celebrate my birthday among my friends with promised delivery in 45 minutes. The order tracking also showed order under preparation. At 1.28 pm, I received a call informing that my order can not be delivered as they don’t have pizza base. I knew it has lame excuse and they don’t want to deliver pizza under buy 2 get 2 free offer. I told them that pizza base is prepared in house and thus I can wait but they informed that bases have been spoiled. I asked them to make delivery with the bad pizza base they have. But person continued to press for cancellation despite me agreeing to deliver whatever they have. Ultimately he disconnected the call and sent SMS that order has been cancelled. Because of their unilateral decision I had to cut sorry figure before my friends. I was ready to accomodate them but since they didn’t want to supply pizza under free offer, they cancelled the order. The sector 20 outlet need to be blacklisted.
