1. I had booked a hotel at sea shell ,neil island from 09th to 12th of December, whereas I wanted to book the hotel for 9th to 12th of October. On realising the error I called up the hotel immediately and got them a message through third party. Now the third party has informed me that hotel needs 7000 rs for this modification.
2. As i had already paid the tax for December dates, an additional tax is not warranted. Apart from that it is clear that it’s a classical human error and paying such a huge amount for this is beyond my imagination.
3. On cheking the cancellation charges I realised that this charge of modification is as good as a cancellation charge. So be it cancellation or modification the charges are same.
4. Basically the hotel needs 7000 bucks for a human error as if everyone there is a computer and they don’t commit a mistake ever.
5. Hoping for a sensible and timely action please.
