I had booked my stay at oyo 29778 Panchadeep Bhawan at Alipurduar for 14.06.2021 to 15.06.2021 and had paid 409 as booking amount and outstanding amount was 955. I received a cal from someone named Mohit from oyo or hotel claiming to have some tie up with Google pay and they are providing me with a discounted rate of 750 instead of 955 and asked me to pay through Google pay and I did so. But after enquiring from hotel they said that they didn’t know anyone named Mohit. Post that when I contacted Mohit and said that if he doesn’t respond correctly I will report his number to cybersecurity cell he immediately blocked me and my money was gone. The matter is if only I and oyo knew about my booking then how could a third person be aware of it ? This is complete breach of privacy and confidential data which I’d highly WRONG.
