This is to report that I am getting too many calls to convert my Airtel number into Idea from a very long time – 1 call everyday!!! It has become very frustrating for me as there are times when I am in office in middle of something that is very important, and I get a call from Idea.
I know this is something I should be complaining to Idea customer care but the problem here is that these guys know which Airtel plan I am using and these sales executives don’t even say that they are calling from Idea at first place, first they try to engage me into a conversation by saying the 499 plan that you have is good and talk about the benefits then later they introduce themselves that I am from Idea and I’ve a better deal and in one of the calls the executive openly said that I got your number from an Airtel person but didn’t disclose the name.
It has become extremely annoying and this is a serious violation of privacy and how can an another service provider know which plan I am using????
What measures are being taken by Airtel to keep our information safe when there are documents like Aadhar card and others???
