I had purchased a Royal Enfield motorcycle in August 2022 from Devi Motors, Purulia an authorised dealer. The unit sold to me has a defective engine that makes abnormal noise when ridden. Multiple complaints have been raised with Royal Enfield and the dealer to address this issue but no resolution have been provided and I am still in possession of the defective motorcycle. I was refused a test ride of this unit (only unit available at the time of purchase) by the dealer, citing that this motorcycle is not available for test ride, however multiple messages were sent to me from Royal Enfield thanking me to test ride this motorcycle, which possibly was reported by the dealer to mislead.
