Text of Complaint by Atharva Babar:

I have booked Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Mr. Clean on 6th February 2023 from Pune. After they launched a new colour variant I changed the colour to Apex Grey on 18th March 2023. I have been told that my booking for Apex grey colour is 1st booking in Pune for that colour yet, I have not received the delivery of bike and there have been other customers who received apex grey colour long time ago. I had mailed the Royal Enfield support related to same they told me it is expected to be delivered in 3rd week of May. I have not received bike as of 7th June 2023 (today). And I have been told that if I want delivery soon I need to change the colour variant of the bike. I had choosen Apex grey as it comes with Alloy Wheels which helps to reduce hassle of using tubed tyres which if gets punctured are hard to fix. Also the cost of Mr. Clean variant is now said to be increased. So now I am paying more money and still not getting Alloy Wheels or even the colour I wanted.
Another thing to mention is it is showing on RE app that my bike is ready for delivery but the tentative date mentioned keeps increasing. It was May before as mentioned in the email and now it’s showing in August Month. I feel Royal Enfield is cheating their customers by giving reason that Apex Grey variant(or alloy variant) are unavailable so they’ll go for some other variant and buy Alloy wheels as accessories which including tubeless tyres cost aroud 25,000 more.
