1) I ordered Lenovo laptop (Order ID- OD427416077728753100) on 25th Feb which was to be delivered on 28th Feb.
2) I received a call on 28th Feb from delivery executive saying the laptop has been damaged and it will be returned back. Later in the evening I received an SMS saying customer has denied the delivery.
3) I immediately called customer care and explained about the call and SMS. They assured help. Finally I received the laptop on 2nd March in the evening, that also after continuous follow up with the delivery agent.
4) The same night when I switched on the laptop, I found the screen to be damaged. It was not working and screen was half black and half white. I called customer care immediately the same night and lodged a complaint and asked either for return or refund.
5) I was given a timeline of 18th Feb that Lenovo technical team will visit and inspect the laptop. Thereafter Flipkart will return/refund. But Lenovo called me and inspected the laptop via video call and photographs. They said that since it’s not a software issue, I’ll have to talk to Flipkart and get the laptop replaced/refunded.
6) After multiple calls and complaints, my timeline for Lenovo tech vist extended till 28th March. I called again to customer care and posted on social media. However, I was asked to wait till 28th March.
7) On 31st March, I received a call from Flipkart and they said talk to Lenovo. We will not replace/refund. And my request was rejected (as shown in the app).
8) After calling everywhere and with utter disappointment, I had to send legal notice to Flipkart and the seller. As per latest update, the notice has been delivered on 05th April.
