I have bought a mobile phone in exchnge of my old poco m3 pro by choosing deferred exchange (exchange later) option. However, when the guy came to receive the old phone, he rejected the request by giving the reason of product mismatch ( since my phone was Poco M3 and the request says it’s a Xiaomi phone). I explained to him that POCO is a subrand of Xiaomi and I chose the option as per the choices given by Flipkart while choosing the exchange (all the poco phones were given under POCO).
It was a fault at Flipkart’s end. I chose the right option but they denied the same during the exchange.
Hence, I asked him to not cancel the request and instead reschedule it once I have a conversation with customer care. But he cancelled the exchange request altogether. Then after struggling with customer care, I got an offer by them to place an exchange request through Flipkart Phonecash. However, there was a difference in exchange money ( earlier on Flipkart exchange later, I was getting RS 9000 – 199 pick up price , on Flipkart Phonecash it was RS 6019). I explained the same to customer care and at the end after so many calls, they agreed to pay the difference through Flipkart gift card. Later, I specifically had to go to Gurgaon to get the exchange done, since it was not getting done from my home (faridabad). After putting so much time and efforts, I have only received Rs 6019 and difference is still unpaid. Each time I raise an incident, they closed it by saying resolved. Without even reading my emails, they simply replied, resolved. It was a series of endless phone calls and mails, hence I don’t want any further discussion on this and don’t have the energy to repeat the same conversation numerous times.I just want the difference amount to be paid to me asap.
