I had purchased two Dresses from the brand Zaboine from Ajio and both the dresses were delivered to me on time.
But due to the size issue I had requested for a exchange of this product with a smaller size.
Now here the exchange product took a very long time to deliver and by the time it was delivered I had to leave the city due to some work and was unavailable to recieve it at a later stage.
And since I wanted this exchange order to be cancelled it took weeks to get this updated on the mobile app.
Now since the exchange order shipment was in process and it was not cancelled, I could not raise a return request in between all this.
I called the customer care and I told them that I want this product to be returned since it does not fit me but the executive assured me that even though
its the last date to return this product I need not worry as its a technical issue that the app has not been updated about the cancelled exchange product
which in turn didnt allow me to create a return request.
The customer care asked me to wait as nothing could be done at the moment and he asked me to call back once the app is updated with the cancelled
status so that he can then go ahead and create a return for it on my behalf even after the return window closed.
Now after all this waiting and mailing , dropping product images, and several follow ups Ajio is now refusing to return the product.
I want to understand where is my fault? I did call and try to return the product while the return window was open, but I was unable to do so.
I had called the customer care and tried to get this return since I could not do so from my side but they too didnt help me despite knowing that it was
the last date to place a return request. I want to understand how is this a fair deal?You guys are cheating customers.
