I want to place a return for three products that I ordered. But when the delivery person came he said the products don’t have the product code on them and hence, refused to take the delivery. Whereas, the truth is that the products never had a code in the initial place itself. I was returning the products in the exact same condition (as it had arrived at the time of delivery).
The product does not have a code on it, whose fault is it? Mine or the seller’s? This is Ajio’s job to make sure that the sent products have tags on them. They have plenty of sellers, and all of then have their own varied packaging patterns. Some put tags and some ‘do not’. Simple, right! What is the customer supposed to do if the product is missing a tag? Unnecessarily bear the charges of the products he/she doesn’t want and that too when the purpose of ordering from Ajio was because of the easy returns process.
After that, I tried contacting their customer service several times through mail, calls or app. But no one, literally no one ever picks up or replies to the mail. When no choice was left, I had to place the return again. The app shows the pickup will be done by 3rd Aug, when infact today is 8th Aug and no one has come for the pickup, neither is their any update on the app.
The return request was placed on the 26th of July.
This is really unprofessional. I would like the Ajio team to revert back on this and complete the process of return successfully and by initiating the refund soon after before the return date.The total refund amount is Rs 2254.56.
