Dear Team, I had booked a flight to Udaipur from Bangalore with Spice jet (PNR number – JD7Q9N) on 19 December 2018 which was scheduled to depart Bangalore at 6.15 pm local time and reach Udaipur at 8.30 pm. However, we got to know one day before our scheduled departure from make my trip app (i.e. on 18 December 2018) that the timing of the flight has got preponed to 12.45 pm due to certain instances. The airline had not intimated of the same… Since we had our child’s exams going on and office meetings scheduled on the said date, we were forced to cancel the flight (owing to the fact that there were no other direct flights to udaipur from bangalore on the said date). We had to make alternate booking through indigo which has costed us INR 30,500 in addition. Since the same is an operational error from the airline’s end, request spice jet to refund us the additional charge in full. A complaint was lodged with the airline and Though the airline says a message and an email was sent, it was not received by me and I got to know of the reschedule only cos of MakeMyTrip.
