Subject: Request for shifting high tension wire (440 V, 800 A) electric box to other premises considering safety of residents in society.
Respected Sir,
I, Akshay Kate member of Mitra Pariwar CHS, sector 3, Charkop, Kandivali West, Mumbai 400067 society wants to bring to your notice regarding the high tension wire electricity box needs to be shifted to other premises due to following below reasons.
- The box is placed at such place where children generally play which is very unsafe, rather it should be placed away from such areas.
- The same place is also used by other members to spend the leisure time.
- The electricity box is placed exactly under the roof top ending thus rain water will directly fall on it which again increases the short circuit risk.
- The entrance to right end side of the society also becomes congested/narrow and thus limits the free passage which again can have an impact on degrading/rusting the electricity box if waste/flood water comes in contact with same.
- During our society pooja the same electricity box might cause the passage very congested and unsafe.
- During festivals like Diwali the passage again would become very sensitive and thus limits the usage of space in our society for festivals/functions.
- The high tension wires do cause radiations and thus should be placed with proper planning.
- Proper intimation to residents (in front/neighbors of which this box is planned to be stationed) about such plan with proper safety and space management of such hyper sensitive object was expected.
Thus request society to re think on the plan with resident’s cooperation and check if it is really necessary to place this box risking resident’s safety.
Please take into consideration that if any casualties/hazardous incidents happening due to this unsafe box, the reliance energy should be responsible and provide a letter of responsibility to residents before moving further with the plan.
