On 22/01/2022 I had given request for change of plan from Billing to Prepaid …. Unfortunately and surprisingly that request was closed stating that mismatch in father name. When did I called to understand the issue, officer denied that this information cannot be shared….then I requested to connect call to supervisor but same was denied….then on raising voice….I was connected to supervisor ….then it was really surprise to know that my father name as per Vi record is Nilesh Sawant and as per UIDAI is full name i.e. Nilesh Gajanan Sawant. Is this the KYC policy? How did u rejected request basis above and even by not informing me before rejection…..Now it was asked me to go again to Vi store and put up request for change is name…..Is that considered as Name Change…. If father name not recorded in your records….don’t forget that I holding this number for more than 12 years……My requirement is to convert this number into prepaid otherwise there are all options open to port…..
