HI,

I have raised request to Vodafone to block my SIM on 22 Aug 2020 because I lost my SIM. I got confirmation on 22 Aug itself that my number has been blocked successfully.

23 Auf was Sunday so all Vodafone Stores was closed and On Monday 24 Aug 12 PM I visited on Vodafone Mini Store (Ballabgargh, Faridabad) and collected new SIM and provided document and whatever to activate my SIM. Vodafone Store given me assurance that your SIM will be activated in 2-4 hours. I waited 5 hour but SIM not got activated. I went again on Vodafone Mini Store around 4:30 PM and they told me that some documentation is Pending. I asked them what documentation is pending so they said we don’t know and Please Check on Vodafone Main Store further.

I went Vodafone Main Store (NIT Faridabad) around 4:45 PM and after 90 Mins in queue I checked with vodafone representataive and he told me after checking someone that my SIM blocked SR (Raised on Saturday) is still Open and due to that number can’t be activated.

So here is issue and big fraud comes in picture that I received confirmation that my SIM has been blocked and Vodafone saying its still active so who is using that SIM and how its not getting blocked.

I asked Store Person to Close SR and block my SIM and he told me that We have to raise IT ticket for same and it will be raised by Store Manager and he is not available today so come tomorrow.

Now I tried to call customer care on 24 AUG – around 08:00 PM and concern person told that within 2-4 hours SIM will be blocked. I waited 4 hours and checked again but SIM not blocked. I tried to call customer care again but after 12 AM nobody attended the call.

I called again Customer care on next day Morning 25 Aug 8:00 AM and they told me that your SIM will get deactivated in next 30 Mins. I waited another 45 Mins and called again and again talked with same person but now same person told that we need another 4 hours to block the number.

So I want to highlight this issue as it seems to me that someone in Vodafone is doing some scam and I want to file a case against Vodafone that why they are giving false commitment and why not blocking SIM. I have doubt that some one is using my SIM in backed and doing fraud.
