Hi Team,

I am writing to file a formal complaint with the Consumer Court regarding unauthorized charges applied to a recent EMI transaction conducted through my account at OneCard credit card banking company.

On 1st April 2024 I made a transaction of rupees 76,879 in www.goibibo.com by choosing Promo code GOONECARDEMI(offer details:- “Flat 8% Instant Discount up to INR. 5000 + 3&6M Interest Free EMI”) by availing the 6-month EMI program with 0% interest for a purchase, as agreed upon at the time of transaction. However, upon reviewing my bank statement, I discovered that interest charges were levied despite the explicit agreement of 0% interest. Additionally, a processing fee was debited from my account during the transaction, a fee which was not disclosed or communicated beforehand.

These actions by OneCard credit card banking company are in clear violation of consumer rights and banking regulations. The lack of transparency and failure to adhere to agreed terms is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the bank’s integrity.

I request the Consumer Court to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against OneCard bank for their unjust practices. Furthermore, I demand a full refund of the interest and processing fee wrongly charged to my account.

I have attached relevant documents, including copies of the transaction receipt and bank statement, for your reference.

I trust that the Consumer Court will address this complaint promptly and ensure that justice is served.
