Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Prince Gupta, would like to formally lodge a complaint regarding suspected medical negligence and unethical practices by the doctors and management of Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, New Delhi, which I believe contributed to the tragic death of my mother, Mrs. Savita Gupta.

At the time of admission, my mother was conscious, stable, and able to walk on her own. She was admitted primarily for blood transfusion and supportive treatment.
However, during her ICU stay from 24 February 2026 to 02 March 2026, her condition deteriorated drastically. Instead of improvement after treatment, her health kept worsening day by day while under the supervision of the hospital and consulting doctors.
The consulting doctors involved in the treatment were:
• Dr. V.S. Issar (DMC No. 11059)
• Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Singh (DMC No. 82)
During the treatment process, our family experienced lack of transparency regarding the treatment plan, questionable medical decisions, and continuous financial pressure. We repeatedly requested proper explanations about her deteriorating condition but did not receive satisfactory clarity.
On 02 March 2026, I personally raised concerns with the doctors regarding the treatment being provided and expressed my belief that certain procedures being carried out were not appropriate. Due to these serious concerns and the rapidly worsening condition of my mother, I decided to shift her under LAMA (Leave Against Medical Advice) to another hospital, Akash Hospital, for further treatment.
Unfortunately, by the time of transfer, her condition had already deteriorated severely. Despite all efforts, my mother, Mrs. Savita Gupta, passed away on 04 March 2026 at 07:08 AM.
This incident has caused immense emotional trauma, mental distress, and financial loss to our family. I strongly believe that the treatment provided at Mata Chanan Devi Hospital requires a thorough investigation to determine whether any medical negligence or unethical conduct occurred.
Therefore, I request the concerned authorities to:
• Conduct an independent and impartial investigation into the treatment provided to my mother.
• Review all medical records, ICU procedures, and treatment decisions taken by the doctors involved.
• Determine whether any negligence, malpractice, or unethical practices occurred during her treatment.
• Take strict disciplinary and legal action if any wrongdoing is found.
I am prepared to provide all relevant medical records, reports, prescriptions, bills, and supporting documents required for the investigation.
