I have a primary mobile no 8899625966 as a postpaid customer with Airtel. I am with Airtel for a long. I never face such harassment from the Airtel team. I was in Dehradun (UK) on 12 Sep 2021, suddenly my mobile start showing invalid sim, I reach nearest Airtel store to get the issue resolved, the person told me that my sim get damaged and I have to perform SIM swap for the same no, where he does the process and handed over my new sim and told me to wait for 4 hours to get this activated, after few mins, I get the response that my request could not be completed, I again visit the same center and he confirmed me it was rejected due to photo mismatch. He asks me to visit in Delhi Airtel center as my mobile number belongs to Delhi/NCR circle.
I visit when I come back to Delhi on 16 Sep 2021at Gaur City 1 Center in Noida, the same process he followed, issued a new sim through the SIM swap, and again it gets rejected due to a photo mismatch. Means what is the harassment airtel doing with me. Airtel person told me, they will do some process and after 3 days my sim gets activated and my current plan will remove and I have to take Rs 500 plan, this the only way.
Today after a total of 9 days, I visited again in Aligarh UP, again the lady do the same, process a sim swap and it get rejected. Now they are asking me to visit Delhi NCR again to get this resolved.
Is this the way airtel treating customers, I am visiting the center for the last 9 days, but my primary is not still in-active? I need my no activated now ASAP, otherwise, I will process the complaint to TRAI.
