Subject: Urgent Complaint – Refund Denial for Returned & Rotten Items (Order EXN-1640682986-20250217)
Dear BigBasket Customer Support,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent order (EXN-1640682986-20250217) placed on 18/2/25 The order contained
1. Rotten Bananas,
2.Rotten & stale Mausambi
3.Crushed parle Marie biscuit packs 2
4.Rotten Papaya
5.Stale apple Ber
6.Unripe bitter watermelon white from inside some of which were rotten, expired, or of poor quality. I promptly requested a return and followed all necessary steps as per BigBasket’s return policy.
However, despite returning the items, I have not received my refund. I have attached photos as proof of the defective items and the return process. I have also contacted customer support earlier, but my concern has not been resolved satisfactorily.
I request an immediate refund for the returned items as per your policy. If I do not receive a resolution within [mention reasonable timeframe, e.g., 3–5 business days], I will be compelled to escalate this matter to the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) and other legal forums.
I trust that BigBasket values its customers and will take prompt action to resolve this issue. Please confirm the refund status at the earliest.
