No broker asked me to pay 11999rs as advance for a house. I paid the money and after the payment the owner says he gave the house to someone else. So as the owner backed out I asked for my money back. Owner said that Nobroker has not paid him anything, if I want the refund I should ask Nobroker itself. When I checked with no broker they they will give me another house. I said I don’t want another house and demanded my money back. They said they cannot refund my money as I backed out from the house. They said it’s company policy itseems. So the scam here is even though the owner backed out from my deal, no broker marked this issue as if the tenant backed out and denied my refund. When I speak with customer service they say they cannot escalate this issue, they said they don’t have any managers around, they will arrange a call back but they never do, not 1 email from their team regarding this issue. When I checked online I saw thousands of similar issues people had with no broker. I was wondering if they are scamming so many people why aren’t any authorities banning them?
