Sub: Refund of flat booking amount in a ShobhaDreamAcre project in Bangalore
Dear Sir
We booked 1BHK flat on 20th Oct. 201 with a real estate builder SHOBHA Ltd. With their project SHOBHA Dream Acre in Bangalore at the SHOBHA office located at Panathur Main Road, Balagere, Bangalore-560087.
During flat booking amount of Rs. 50,000/- was paid via Debit card to ShobhaDreamAcre (Order ID: SDA-20-10-18-1540036787-38) (Flat/Unit no. booked: 110817).
For personal reasons we cancelled flat within two days. The same was informed to SHOBHA officials over email, phone and message. Along with flat cancellation request booking amount refund was requested.
After several follow-ups too there was no reply from SHOBHA not the amount refunded.
Though they mentioned in their document that cost of Rs. 50,000/- is towards administrative and swiping charges. It is difficult to understand and unacceptable that such a huge amount of Rs. 50,000/- are for admin and swiping charges.
Therefore, hereby request to please look into and direct SHOBHA Ltd. to refund booking amount of Rs. 50,000/- as for a middle-class family Rs. 50,000/- too is a huge amount.
