Text of Complaint by Onkar Tambe:

I have cancelled my metro store value pass for which the amount has to be refunded in to my bank account. I have purchased the pass by making payment from Punjab & Maharashtra Co-operative (PMC) Bank on 8th August 2019 of Rs.2,000. Since i dont need the pass anymore i have cancelled it on 8th November 2019 but the amount is not reflecting in my bank account because PMC  bank is under regulation of Section 35(A) imposed by Reserve Bank of India(RBI) which has restricted the bank to accept/receive any credit to customers bank account. The same was informed to paytm but they are demanding an authority letter from PMC Bank which says that bank cannot accept/receive any credit to customers bank account. I have approached the bank fore the same but the bank officials said that “PMC Bank dont need to give any letter to anyone for the same because the notice issued by RBI is a valid notice and an universal fact” which actually makes sense. They also said that the even if Paytm(Vendor) tries to make any credit to PMC customers bank account the shall bounce back to vendors account. I tried reaching the paytm customer care through chat mode(by sending messages) but no reply is received from them since 29th November 2019 I have been following up with them since 8th November 2019.
