I had placed an order on Amazon for a Boat neckband (order id : 405-0116893-8809122), and I was delivered wrong product. Then I talked to the customer care executive and they said that they are initiating a return for this order and I have to return the wrong item which I received and after the item reaches back to the seller, I will be provided refund for the same. I was very specifically committed multiple times by multiple agents on chat and call that after three working days of the item reaching back to the seller I will be provided refund.
The item was picked up on 16 Dec upon successful verification by the amazon pickup agent, he also took pictures of the same. And then the item reached back to the seller on 24 Dec as informed by customer care executives, hence I was committed for refund to be processed till maximum 28 Dec.
Now, first things first that hassle of getting the wrong product delivered when I have to gift someone in a limited time then have to wait till return and refund so that I can buy the product again with the refunded money and be able to gift to whom I wanted to gift it. But now they’re saying that the seller is denying refund as they’ve got different item. But I had got different item and that’s why I returned the different item. It was an Mi Smart Band 5 worth of ₹2,999. If I was the one sending wrong product then why would I send a product which is double the price of what I ordered. Because this is not the case. I have honestly and loyally returned the item with due respect, in original condition the way I received it.
I tried to contact to their grievance department as well and got no help from their either.
