Text of Complaint by Reetika Bhattacharjee:

I had activated international roaming in the month of March,2018 for which I also had to give a security deposit amount of 5000 Rs. In the month of June, 2018 I deactivated my international roaming and requested for the refund of the security deposit amount. I was told that I would get my refund back with 45 days which was 6 Sep,2018. I have been calling Vodafone customer care service several times since 6 Sep,2018 to check for my refund but I am always told “Madam, please give us 48 hours, we will process your refund and get back to you” without giving a clear explanation of what is causing the delay. Even today after 3 months I have neither received a single update from them nor my refund. Finally, last month in November, my monthly bill was deducted from the deposit amount without any prior confirmation. I then called Vodafone and checked with them on the same as I was not informed about it and then also told them to deduct my future bills as well from the deposit amount as I have still not received the refund. However, the deduction did not happen this month and last Sunday my outgoing calls were blocked. I called the customer service again and they reverted back my outgoing calls facility and also gave me assurance that within 48 hours my bill payment will be done fom the deposit amount. Today morning, once again my outgoing calls along with internet services have been blocked.

This is completely unacceptable as a customer. I am totaly frustrated calling the customer service so many times without receiving a proper response. I request you to take immdeiate action against this.
