I booked a flight from Bhopal to Delhi on 8th of March, 2020. On the day of departure when I woke up the in morning I saw a message regarding cancellation of my flight and reason being bad weather. I checked all across the internet about weather conditions in Bhopal , Delhi and as well as all intermediate cross through and it was good. When I talked to the Indigo customer care executive, I was offered an alternative flight to Delhi on the next day but that wasn’t possible for me. So, I got my ticket cancelled from their end and was told that I’ll get the refund within 7-8 working days. It’s October now since I’ve been waiting for that refund and whenever I talk to the Indigo customer care, they say that the refund has been initiated from their end and now I need to talk to the ticket booking portal, i.e., Make My Trip. But MMT has never been available to solve any of my queries, neither on call nor on their chat system Myra.
It’s already high time now for me to take action concerning the same.
If I don’t get the refund after this, I’ll end up reaching the Consumer Forum.
