Hello sir,
We have booked a flight ticket on 25/12/2023 for Coimbatore to Bhopal and it is via flight actually , which is from Coimbatore to Mumbai and Mumbai to Bhopal which totalled around rupees 20168 . Actually what happened is we cancelled the flight on 22/03/2024 . But the ticket was on live till 24/03/2024. We have called the yatra agent and he said that the ticket live still ,you can cancel only by calling the Air India Agent . So we called Air India Agent and Cancel and asked her how much we would get as refund , the agent said that cancellation charge is 4200 per person so that we would get around 8500 to 9000 but you should ask your booking agency any way
But the issue is here Yatra customer service is saying that you would get only rupees 960 and remaining is as penalty.
Think of the we paid rupees 20160 and for cancelling we would only get rupees 959.98 .
They have not mentioned anything about penalty while we cancel or there are no words about penalty .
