Text of Complaint by Debottam Chakraborty:

On 3rd October i made a payment for a gala mop on amazon with my Paytm debit card. However the transaction was not successful due to some unknown reason. Then only I contacted Amazon’s customer executive number and they told me that as the transaction was not successful so I will get a refund within 15th October. But on 16th as i checked my passbook i didn’t saw any refund coming from Amazon. So i again contacted Amazon’s customer executive number and they instructed me to contact my bank. Listening to them I contacted my bank and now they are telling me that the refund was never initiated by Amazon’s end. So I again contacted Amazon’s customer executive number and they are gave me an order id and a refund reference number, they also told me that if the refund was never initiated by them there would be no refund reference number. And from that i have atleast contacted them 5 times both of them are telling me the same thing again and again. On is telling me that it’s Amazon who never initiated the refund and Amazon is telling me that its my bank’s fault as the amount was not credited. It’s been 5 days and still i didn’t received any refund.
