Text of Complaint by Priyadharshini:

I have booked train ticket through IRCTC mobile app for my family (3 persons) in tatkal quota. Out of three 1 persons ticket is confirmed and other 2 were in waiting list. As my sister is pregnant and i dont want to take risk over it i have cancelled 3 tickets. As per Railway policy Not confirmed/ Waiting list tickets amount must be refunded. But It was not refunded and when complaint raised through care@irctc.co.in they are claiming that confirmed tickets will not be refunded. But i did not receve any confirmation on tickets and that too tickets been cancelled before 5 hrs of departure. Date of Journey was 6-may-2022 16:00hrs. Tickets been cancelled around 11:00 hrs. For verification i have taken PNR Status On 10-may-2022 09:21 IST at IRCTC website. Even after the date of departure its showing TQWL(Tatkal wainting). But i dont know how they are saying its confirmed. If its confirmed it must be informed to passenger or in their portal. But its not. So the genuine refund is to be provided.
