Text of Complaint by Deepanshu Jawa:

I booked a round flight from Delhi to Bagdogra via MakeMyTrip on 3rd Feb, 2020. the flight was scheduled for April 6 2020 and return on 12th April, 2020. Due to lockdown the flights got cancelled and till February this year the airline kept the money in their credit shell. But on talking to them they refunded the complete amount to original mode of payment i.e. via MakeMyTrip.
On contacting MakeMyTrip trip they assured me that if they have received the refund from airline they’ll process it to my payment method. The process got completed and they said to have processed the refund of complete amount of 7192 Rs in 2 parts(this was because of the processing of refund via 2 airlines), but I have received nothing. I shared my AmazonPay statements (as the payment was made via AmazonPay balance), even a mail from Amazon confirming that no refund was processed via MakeMyTrip to my account.
I’ve tried reaching MakeMyTrip officials multiple times with the discrepancy in refund complaint, but nothing has happened till now. I’ve always received same email saying they are looking into it and after 5-6 days they automatically just resolved the compliant saying they have processed, it’s been 2 months now.
I’m attaching screenshots of mail exchanges and my statement details.
Please help in getting it resolved ASAP.
