Text of Complaint by Priyanka Rathi:

I am reaching out regarding a pending refund for our flight back from Delhi to Frankfurt on 15th January 2022.

I (Priyanka Rathi) and my husband(Shubham Indurkar) tested +ve for COVID and could not travel back to Frankfurt on 15th January. We contacted Vistara on 12th January with the same and requested a full refund. On 20th January, Vistara approved our refund on medical grounds. (Please find attached the email conversation between Vistara and me, important parts have been highlighted)

We contacted travelgenio on 16th February for the first time for the refund with ticket number #4718682.

They just replied saying it is a non-refundable ticket but as per the booking conditions between travelgenio and me the cancellation and refunds are subject to airline policies. And in our case airline agreed to provide a complete refund.

Since then I am chasing travelgenio for a refund. They don’t reply by email and on phone, they keep saying to get in touch with Vistara to provide a waiver code.

From my perspective, I have a confirmation from airlines that they have issued a refund. If travelgenio need something to approve the refund they should get in touch with vistara and ask for it specifically.
