Hi,
I ordered for an item on 7th Aug,2020 and at the time of booking the item was supposed to be delivered with a week. Couple of days later I found that the delivery date got pushed to 29th Aug. Realizing this I reached out to customer service over chat and the person declined to cancel my order. Next day again I reached to CS asking to cancel the order. She assured me to cancel it. Later I realized it was not cancelled – just I was given a false commitment. On 19th Aug, I could see the cancellation option was available in my login against the ordered item. I went ahead and cancelled the order. Accordingly received an SMS, Mail confirmation confirming the same. SIte also got updated saying the item is returning back to seller and refund will be initiated in next 2-3 business days. As the refund was not initiated reached out to CS over chat. I was told that item was actually not cancelled and whatever communication I received was a technical glitch. Interestingly even the site was showing the refund initiated. But the CS person did not agree to the information provided from their end to me. Even when I checked against the tracking id shared, it was clearly mentioning the item was returned. Now today received another message in my mailbox saying the item is dispatched and new delivery date is 4th Sept. When I came to the site to check the order it still says “returning to seller” .
Amazon has put me in great convenience and most importantly denying all the communication sent from their end as technical glitch and also trying to hide information from customer. Need your assistance here to receive back my amount. I have all the proofs with me. Attaching the status on the tracking details clearly staing when the item was cancelled. Order# 402-4279641-3254714
