I have returned an item to Myntra for which payment of Rs. 3999/- had been
made through Google Pay UPI. As the item has been returned back to Myntra,
refund of Rs. 3999/- was to be credited to my account, however the same has
not occurred till date. Upon corresponding with Myntra, it was brought to
my knowledge that they have processed the refund on 16th July 2022 for Rs.
3999/- and I need to contact bank with reference number 219779228010
(screenshot attached). I filed complaint with concerned bank i.e. SBI with
case number 115961879 and provided them the reference number provided by
Myntra.
The said bank replied via mail dated 30.07.2022 (screenshot attached) that
they can’t do anything and for refund related issue, I need to contact
Myntra.
Thereafter, I contacted Myntra again on call and my call was escalated to
senior management. The senior manager informed me that the payment was made
through Google pay and so for refund issue, I need to contact google pay
team as Myntra has processed the refund.
After this, I contacted Google pay team via their customer care chat and
provided them the refund reference number 219779228010. The Google pay
customer care informed me that the refund was not initiated through the
Google Pay app and I need to contact merchant Myntra for more information.

Even after talking with Myntra senior manager and Google pay team, I am not
provided any satisfactory solution as to why my refund has not been
credited. As the refund was initiated by Myntra and there is no refund
related transaction showing in my Google pay transaction history, I request
Myntra customer care to redress my grievance in order to credit me my due
refund of Rs. 3999/-.
