I booked the airline ticket to Bengaluru on 24th July 2022 through Travolook.in, and got a call from them in 15 minutes that the ticket has been cancelled due to “technical problems from the airlines’ side”. The subsequent email said the reason was “Fare expiration”.
The refund has still not been given. Everytime i call, I’m told it’ll come in 7-10 working days, or that the refund was returned by my bank.
There is no update from the company, each time i call the call centre number, they hang up on me rather than give me straight answers. They refuse to allow me to speak to a supervisor (against company policy), or give me the number of their Grievance Officer (they have no idea who that is). No information is available on their website other than the one number.
This is a completely fraudulent company, existing on the funds of people they dupe, expecting the majority to tire of the run around and give up.
Given the massive number of complaints against this computer company seen online, how are these people not behind bars?
Please raise a chargeback dispute immediately. Any customer who does an online transaction can claim a refund of the charged amount from the payment gateway up to a certain period of time. Chargeback is the term used for such a claim request. The payment gateway will block the payment to the fraudulent vendor and return the money to the customer if fraud is proved.
