I had booked three airline tickets with Travolook on 06/06/2022 and they had canceled all three on their own citing “Operational Issues”. Having said this, they promised me refund within a week. However, six months have almost passed and I have called and emailed them more than 20 times requesting my refund to which they always said ” 100% sure that this time you will get refund in 6-7 days”. They gave one or other baseless reasons for the refund still not being processed. I had been mentally harassed by the company’s customer representatives – Ririk, Dishwant, Neha , and few more who just gave me fake assurances, fake hopes, and fake deadlines. They often ignored my emails and hug-up my calls while I used to complain about the issue. I have call recordings of them promising refunds in 6-7 days and also email proofs of sending them infinite mails and also complying with their irrelevant processes involving “Signing of Undertakings” and ” Address proofs of mine and travellers”. Having read about people who have also been scammed by Travolook, what I infer is that “Travolook cancels tickets of its travellers after payment completion and instead of refunding it to us, they use that money for their own purpose. They constantly lie to their customers about the status of the refunds and in this way until the customer gives up or forgets the issue, they prolong the refund and finally get away with it. Its a contempt of Aviation Laws” . For me the booking amount is Rs 1537 and I am yet to receive the same despite repeated requests and followups.
