This is Ajay writing this letter from Bengaluru, India. I have booked a ticket on 2nd November 2022 from Mumbai to Amsterdam and Amsterdam to Mumbai to travel on 10th december 2022 and 14th January 2023 respectively with bookingID NVDH5F and eTicketNo 220-6748100276.
Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with anxiety disorder and hence cancelled my travel plans. I have raised a refund request with my agency (MakeMyTrip.com) on 5th december 2022. However, the refund was not initiated from lufthansa airlines on medical grounds due to no medical policy on the ticket.
As this is a serious medical condition that i’m going through which is anxiety disorder, feelings of suicide, loanliness and loss of sleep. I really didn’t want to go through a bad experience in Europe and hence cancelled all my plans.
I’m attaching my medical certificate from my doctor. Please understand the situation.
Do not make me get into further anxiety and lead that into depression. I honestly urge Lufthansa to treat this as a special case. I would also be glad if the refund is given as points or a voucher as I will be travelling with Lufthansa again in the future. I do not want to change the travel date as I don’t know when my disorder will be cured.
