Last year, starting from December onwards, I had multiple instances where Amazon’s courier partner refused home delivery. Despite numerous complaints, no action was taken.
On October 21, 2023, I placed an order for a Butterfly mixer grinder, and on the 23rd, I attempted to cancel it through the Amazon app. Unfortunately, there was no option for cancellation. I then reached out to Amazon’s customer service on October 23, and the executive assured me that they would cancel the order. The product cost me Rs. 2599.
As of today, November 8, 2023, I have yet to see any refund initiated. When I contacted them today, they asked me to wait for an additional 24 hours before they can begin the refund process. Even after the process starts, I’m told to wait for an additional 5 business days. It’s frustrating to see my money held for an extended period due to Amazon’s policies.
