Text of Complaint by Saranya Dakshinamurthy:

I raised a relocation request sometime back with TataSky but my account was cancelled instead. Then when I called TATA SKY Customer Care they created a new Subscriber ID and mapped to the same RMN . When the technician came for installation I had to recharge the account and logged in TataSky.com using my RMN and recharged. Unfortunately instead of New Subscriber ID the old cancelled ID was still mapped and it got recharged instead for the amount of Rs 300. Now the Customer Care representative is telling that since it is a Cancelled ID the amount cannot be refunded or transferred to the active account. Kindly help in retrieving (refund) my money of Rs 300 from the cancelled ID. I have made multiple request but still no change from TataSky.

  1. Old Sub ID – 1108513175 (Recharge wrongly done here – default)
    New Sub ID – 1411084179 (Recharge to be done here)

    Both are linked to same RMN.
