I had ordered Asus laptop from Flipkart, Flipkart Order ID: OD328782028553372100.
On 6th Aug’23 I received a defect product delivery that did not start/ not turn on.
am writing to you with great disappointment regarding my recent experience as a customer of Flipkart. I am an intern educator associated with Unacademy and also students at IIT Roorkee. It is with deep regret that I must bring to your attention the grievous issues I have encountered in connection with my purchases from your platform.
Under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 420, 1860, and 421, I believe that Flipkart has engaged in dishonest and fraudulent practices, which have caused significant financial loss and mental distress to me. I have been a loyal customer of Flipkart for a considerable period, relying on your services for my personal and professional needs. However, my recent experience has left me in a state of disbelief and frustration.
On 2nd of August 2023, I placed an order for a laptop on your platform with order number OD328782028553372100. Despite providing all necessary details accurately, I received a defect product delivery that did not start. This error has caused a loss of INR 10,000, because not fulfill my obligations as an intern educator and I failed to use laptop in my examination.
I wish to assert that this incident has had severe consequences on my professional commitments and reputation. The time and energy I have spent in trying to rectify this situation, along with the financial loss incurred, cannot be overlooked. I demand immediate compensation for the time, effort, and financial setback that I have suffered as a result of Flipkart’s negligence and erroneous delivery.
I kindly request your prompt attention to this matter. I expect a thorough investigation into the events leading to the defected product delivery and a justifiable resolution to be provided at the earliest. Furthermore, I demand a compensation amount of INR 10,000 to cover the financial loss and mental distress that I have endured due to Flipkart’s actions.
Please consider this letter as my ultimatum to address and rectify the situation within 24 hours. Failure to do so will compel me to take necessary legal actions to protect my rights and seek appropriate remedies under the law. I decided to make FIR on Flipkart.
I hope we can resolve this matter amicably and avoid any unnecessary escalation. I look forward to your prompt response.
I want consumer court to take action against them and penalize them as hard as they can so that they could not dare again to deliver such products to any more customer and harass them mentally and psychologically and wasting their valuable time and energy.
