I received a WhatsApp call and the voice was not audible, so I had call them back, but the call was rejected. Sometime later, this repeated again and then I texted the number to know who it was. I immediately received a message on WhatsApp where someone was claiming to be from Google Department and was offering a freelance Job, where I have to give fake rating to some prestigious hotel and send the screenshots to receive payment. I knew there was something fishy right from the beginning, but just wanted to play it out to see how this scam works, and I was very cautious not clicking any of the link they have sent. I opened Google Map, rated the said hotels, took screenshot and sent them. Now, I was asked to reach out to someone through telegram and get a code and then give the code to the person on WA chat. I stopped playing the game and came straight here to report this fraud.
